- February 15, 2026, “AI and Genealogy with Steve Little” – Steve Little, founder of AI Genealogy Insights and AI Program Director for the National Genealogical Society, will present two virtual programs for us in February. He’ll begin at 2:00 Eastern time with “Most Effective Uses of AI in the Genealogy Space,” and will continue at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time with “Three AI-Powered Genealogy Projects to Illustrate GenAI Tools.” Register HERE for this virtual program.
- May 3, 2026, “Jewish Genealogy Using Polish Records” – We’re excited to present a unique “hybrid” program in May with Hadassah Lipsius and Anna Wiernicka. Hadassah will present in-person at the Allen County Public Library Genealogy Center, beginning at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. She’ll discuss “Polish Jewish Research – The JRI-Poland Experience.” Learn how to use this fabulous online resource to find vital records, census lists, and more! Then Anna Wiernicka will join us virtually from Poland at 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time. Her presentation, “Was My Ancestor Rich or Poor: What We Can Find from Polish Business Court Records,” will reveal hidden records found within the business court records held by the Polish State Archives. Hadassah is a longtime board member of JRI-Poland and has worked with us as co-chair of the 2025 IAJGS Conference in Fort Wayne. Dr. Anna Wiernicka is a professional genealogist in Poland. She and Hadassah continue to collaborate and uncover interesting stories from their deep dives into the Polish State Archives.
